It surprises me to see that people could live and survive in such conditions... I think I possibly wouldn't be able to. Images like this one also serve as a reminder that one should be more thankful for our way of living/lifestyle.
When I see this picture I think of the end of the world. It looks unreal, as if the nothing on earth will survive. The sand has taken over the country like death takes over humanity, its kind of creepy!!!!!!!!!!!!
This picture reminds me of a sunrise, like really early in the morning. Like a really foggy morning as well, very peaceful and calm. I don't think i would like waking up to that everyday but i wouldn't mind having mornings like that once in a while.
When i first saw this picture i thought it was just orange because of the sunrise or the sunset but after we were told that it was from bad weather i was astonished. How could people live like that? That cant be healthy.
It looks kinda bad. but when you see pictures of the smog in bakersfield it doesnt seem to matter as much as this picture. That was a one time thing. we breath bad air every day....
When I first saw this I thought about Jupiter and it's big red spot. After that I thought about how the south east area of the United States used to be called the dust bowl when it had sand storms all the time. All I can say is I hope people are staying where they are safe. Like in their homes.
The first picture looks beautiful, but the second picture looks disgusting. It shows how contaminated our world really is and how it could tamper with our ozone layer. We should take care of our society, not destroy it.
it seems like it would be horrible to live there during that type of weather. i bet people have to wear face masks and goggles to keep the dust out of their eyes. Anyone with bad allergies would have a serious issue living there.
